The Residency by Airbnb
My role: Art Director and Strategy lead, driving strategic alignment, team direction, and pitch development from insight to final presentation.
Insight: You can live in a city for years and still feel like a tourist.
Problem: For Gen Z relocators, moving often solves for access but not connection, leaving people lonely, socially invisible, and disconnected from the real culture around them.
Solution: We designed The Residency, a 30-day Airbnb program that helps newcomers build belonging through a Residency Host, cohort-based connection, and tools like the Neighborhood Key, reframing Airbnb from a place to stay into a system for social and cultural entry.
